Whether your athlete is a first year wrestler or a National Champ, they will be in an environment designed around their needs to help them reach their potential. Each wrestler is important to us and every effort is made to ensure your athlete gets the most beneficial wrestling experience possible. If your wrestler is not afraid of hard work and wants to reach their full potential in the sport of wrestling, this camp is a must!

Youth Camp Dates
Weekend #1 May 29 - 31
Weekend #2 June 12 - 14
Weekend #3 July 17 - 19

$250 per wrestler

Your wrestler will learn how to drill correctly and will also learn the vital importance of stance, body control, and the fundamental techniques of wrestling. We will emphasize skills such as set-ups, proper leg attacks, finishes, and the front headlock. Because most championships are won on your feet, takedowns will be the focus of the camp. In addition, we will cover a variety of techniques on the mat. Coach Jordan instructs you on various techniques, then makes you drill them hard 'til perfection. All takedowns will be incorporated into an intense drill.
Live wrestling will be implemented into every session to help develop the wrestler and the skills they have learned at camp. (Approx. 20-25 mini matches throughout the weekend)
Looking forward to training you in your quest to be the ultimate... State Champion!

SUPER GOLD MEDAL TRAINING CAMPS (SGM)
16-Day
This intensive learning and training camp entails a unique blend of comprehensive technical instruction and structured drill sessions with lots of live wrestling. You will learn how to develop the mental toughness and confidence that you need to excel at the highest levels of competition. You will come to understand the technique, concentration, intensity, and commitment required to become a Champion.

Super Gold Medal Training Camp will be a valuable investment in your future. It is a special opportunity for the experienced wrestler who has college scholarship aspirations and wants to make a big commitment this summer.

GOLD MEDAL TRAINING CAMP (GM)
6 or 8 Day Options
This incredible camp involves a unique blend of technical instruction, intense drilling, live wrestling, and review sessions. Technique is emphasized and reinforced, not neglected as it is at many other intensive camps. You will be taught by many of our superstar clinicians and will learn far more than you would at a shorter camp.

The live wrestling sessions are very intense and competitive. During the past two seasons, Gold Medal Campers have won an impressive 74 State Championships, while over 300 campers have placed in their High School State Tournaments. This does not include all the future stars still in junior high school. Many of our campers use Gold Medal Camp to train for USA Wrestling, NHSCA and AAU Nationals, so we have special instructional and training groups for those interested in freestyle and Greco-Roman training. If you want to test yourself against the best in the nation, Gold Medal Training Camp is the place to do it.
PERSONALIZED TECHNIQUE CAMP (Tech)
4-Day
The Personalized Technique Camp is specifically designed for junior and senior high wrestlers with little to moderate experience. Our technique curriculum is carefully structured to present the most effective scoring techniques from all three positions in a systematic fashion to maximize retention. Techniques will be shown in a progressive sequence to promote learning and understanding of what works at all levels of competition. The wrestlers will have a designated coordinator from our Gold Medal Staff who will monitor each instructional session to review and expand upon the curriculum with each student. The wrestlers will be divided by age and experience as needed so that each wrestler is able to focus on the technical skills and tactics that they most need to improve upon. The base curriculum as designed by Coach Chertow will be comprised of the highest percentage techniques in wrestling, and they will be presented in a systematic fashion with emphasis on the finer teaching points. In addition to not only learning, but retaining a highly effective system of wrestling, Personalized Technique Camp Students will get to choose specific areas in which to receive advanced instruction. Although live wrestling is not a core component of the technique camp as it is with the Gold Medal Training Camp, participants will have the opportunity to participate in live wrestling during select sessions.

Liberty University Wrestling Camp
Camp Brochure

Liberty Wrestling Camp is set for July 15–18 and is built around serious mat time and real improvement. Campers will get 6–8 dual meets, plenty of 1-on-1 instruction, and a high coach-to-athlete ratio so nobody gets lost in the crowd. Every camper is also automatically entered into the Liberty Open on July 18, so you finish the week with live tournament matches. Camp is held on Liberty’s campus (ranked #2 in America), with both overnight and commuter options available.

We’re especially encouraging teams to come together — the dual-meet format is ideal for teams, and we offer deep team discounts (5 or more wrestlers). Coaches wishing to register as a team need to email [email protected].

Registration deadline is July 8, 2026. If you're looking for a camp with lots of matches, quality coaching, and a competitive environment, this is a great option.

***Setups & Takedowns Camp***
June 15-18, 2026

Picture
Setups & Takedowns is a series of four 3-hour sessions designed to increase the precision and accuracy of the most common offensive takedowns at the highest levels of wrestling: singles and high-crotches.  Other attacks will be included: knee pull singles, knee blocks, low singles, and head-outside low-singles, to name a few.  Each of the attacks will be broken down into components in order to focus on improving every phase of the attack to insure each wrestler, regardless of skill level and experience, will come away from the clinic with an improved shot.  After mastering the attacks, each wrestler will be provided instruction on variety of effective setups along with hand-fighting combinations so that they are able to disrupt any opponent’s stance and create an angle.  Finally, the clinic will also include finishes in the format of a series so that each wrestler has an immediate choice based on the opponent’s reaction to the attack.  In particular, each wrestler will learn and improve in each of the 6 single leg power positions to keep from ever getting extended on a shot again.

***Escape Artist Bottom Camp***
July 13 – 16, 2026 or July 20 – 24, 2026

Picture
The Escape Artist Bottom Camp is designed to teach wrestlers a system and mentality that will get them out from bottom at any level. Attack from bottom by progressing through a series of moves that work no matter how your opponent tries to break you down. The series you learn is based on what works now at all levels from youth wrestling to the NCAA championship. A few years into my coaching career I reached my limit. My coaching style on bottom was a weird mix of moves from my history in the sport with a variety of teams. It wasn’t working and I was frustrated. So I threw everything I thought I knew about bottom out of the window and analyzed tons of film. The best wrestlers at every level are not doing what we learned in the 80s and 90s. After analyzing all of this film I realized if talent is equal a good move works 1 out of every 4 attempts. Those of you who preach chain wrestling already know this. So I focused on creating a system based on progressing through positions that leave us in great position to score even if our first three attempts fail. The system also works towards situations that leverage the rules against the top wrestler forcing them to cut us or get penalized. Finally, the most important factor towards getting that escape is attitude. Mental training has become a huge part of what we do on bottom. And it all comes to together very well. Instead of defending, we attack from the bottom position and we have earned more escapes than ever before. Never be ridden out again.

***CHOOSE TOP LEG RIDING CAMP***
July 17-18th, 2026 or July 24-25th, 2026

St. John's College HS

Washington, DC 20015

The Choose Top Leg Camp is conducted in a clinic format. Each wrestling camp is designed to insure that one-on-one attention is given to each wrestler. A focus on one series (leg riding) split into separate short sessions increases retention tremendously. Coaches are welcome to come along and feel free to bring a camera so you can review the technique again in the winter.

At the Choose Top Leg Camp throwing legs is taught as a series of moves and positions. Most wrestlers learn leg moves at different times and pick up a few things on their own. This camp will show wrestlers how many of these moves work together and how to use one move to setup another.
The technique is presented with a position-based philosophy rather then a scoring-based philosophy. You will learn to throw legs with the mentality to constantly improve good position rather then becoming impatient and giving up position. Learning to constantly improve position rather then just stay in good position will enable you to score without putting yourself in danger.

Plenty of wrestlers think they know the basics of leg wrestling. This wrestling camp addresses the small details that often get overlooked. The Choose Top Leg Camp will fine tune your leg techniques so that you can throw legs and score points against the toughest opponents.

The focus of the Choose Top Leg Camp is on staying in good position and high percentage scoring moves. Scrambling and recovery from difficult positions and situations are also spread out throughout the clinic in order to help leg riders remain confident rather than bailing out to early.

This wrestling camp is run by an experienced coach who is currently in the room. Coach Keel understands how to show technique in a way that is fun and easily understood by wrestlers of all ages. He also puts a lot of time into research and is constantly picking up new technique from competition as well as camp participants.
